Integrating the global design approach into AGV production

At REOREV, we follow a proven methodology of looking at each project as a whole, with an emphasis on innovation - a key element of our DNA for over 50 years.

From the outset of the project, our Digital & Design department worked closely with our mechanical engineering department to design an optimally efficient AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) for our customer RENAULT TRUCKS at the Bourg-en-Bresse site.

Our user-focused approach takes into account the entire life cycle of the product: its use, manufacture, context and end-of-life, while minimizing its impact on the environment.

Our passion, for what has never been done before, drives us to encourage individual and collective initiatives aimed at rethinking established norms, integrating cross-disciplinary knowledge and creating unexpected solutions. As part of this project, we supplied two AGVs specifically adapted to the customer's needs.

These custom-built units are equipped with arms that can accommodate longitudinal beams, and move from one station to another so that operators can carry out a variety of assembly operations. The length of the AGV can be easily adjusted to suit the stringers being transported, thanks to integrated foot pedals.

This project is a perfect illustration of our commitment to innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. At REOREV, we're constantly exploring new avenues and pushing the boundaries to create innovative products.
